Supercritical foaming technology is a process that involves the use of supercritical fluids to create foam. Supercritical fluids are substances that are heated and pressurized to a state where they have properties of both liquids and gases. In this state, they can dissolve materials, making them ideal for use in foaming processes. The supercritical fluid is mixed with a polymer, such as EVA, and then rapidly depressurized, causing the polymer to expand and form a foam.
Bio-based EVA foam is a substitute for traditional EVA raw materials by extracting vinyl from sugar such as sugarcane and corn, and making it into raw materials. Due to the use of biomass materials instead of petroleum based chemical materials, it can reduce dependence on petrochemical products and have a certain degree of natural degradation performance.
Bio-based EVA foam's characteristic is lighter, more comfortable, and also very environmentally friendly. Not only does it have the components of natural biomass and the unique fragrance of biomass materials, but it also has good antibacterial performance, moisture absorption, and good dehumidification, which can significantly improve the hygiene performance of the shoe cavity; At the same time, it has excellent physical properties, such as low compression deformation, high rebound, low density, and moderate hardness.
